About these terms

These terms cover your use of fbsoftwaresolutions.com and the free material published on it. They are between you and FB Software Solutions LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company.

They do not cover paid work. Any project we carry out for you is governed by a separate written agreement, and where that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement takes precedence.

Using this website

You may read, share and link to anything published here, and you may use the tutorials to build your own projects, commercially or otherwise.

You may not republish substantial parts of our written material as your own, attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems, or use the site to distribute malware or unlawful content.

The educational material

Tutorials, articles and downloadable files are provided for learning. They are offered in good faith and tested where practical, but software environments differ. Test anything you take from here on a development site before using it in production, and keep backups. We are not responsible for damage caused by following a tutorial on a live system.

Projects still in development

Several projects described here — including Serra, FB Software ERP and FB Software AI Engine — are in active development and are not finished products. Where a page says something is planned or not yet built, that statement is accurate and is not a commitment to deliver it.

Third-party software

Our tutorials and projects use third-party software such as WordPress, Odoo Community and AI provider APIs, each governed by its own licence and terms. Where a tutorial uses a paid or restricted tool, we say so.

No shop on this website

This website does not sell products or take payments. Nothing here is an offer of sale and no order can be placed through it. Enquiries sent through the contact form are requests for a conversation, not contracts.

Availability

We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee it. We may change, move or remove content, and may take the site offline for maintenance without notice.

Disclaimer and liability

The website and its free material are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, FB Software Solutions LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of this website or the free material on it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The state and federal courts located in New Mexico have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
